Westgold Resources is seeking an experienced
Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain team based in
Maddington. This permanent, full‑time opportunity plays a key role in optimising inventory performance across our operations, supporting internal stakeholders and driving data‑led inventory optimisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Supply Manager, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for the effective cataloguing, optimisation, and reconciliation of company inventory. The role has a strong focus on internal customer service, accuracy, and continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory optimisation and correct stocking level recommendations
- Supply chain inventory reporting and analysis
- ANSI processing and catalogue maintenance
- Min/Max review and management
- Identification and reporting of slow‑moving, obsolete, and non‑start stock
- Rotable stock record management
- Development and adherence to stocktaking procedures
- Active engagement with internal customers regarding inventory performance
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory management roles
- At least 3 years’ experience in warehousing, preferably within the mining industry
- Experience using Pronto ERP (highly regarded)
- Strong Excel and Word capability
- High attention to detail with a customer‑focused mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Safety‑focused approach to all work activities
Qualifications
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Relevant certification in Cataloguing and/or Inventory Management (desirable)
